Care advice

General maintenance advice

When caring for your jewelry, it is important that you understand the vulnerability of precious metals and that you adapt it to your lifestyle.

In order to carefully maintain your jewelry, we recommend that you avoid exposure to impacts and extreme temperatures.

Chemicals and some household substances can weaken metal even if it is not immediately visible.

Remove your jewelry when you:

  • Shower or swim
  • When you sleep
  • Use of cosmetic products or perfumes
  • When you exercise.
  • If you do work where your jewelery is exposed to chemicals or force.

  • Do not store your jewelry in the bathroom.
  • Avoid salt water and chlorinated water.
  • Clean your jewelry regularly.

When you are not using your jewelry. Clean it before putting it in its packaging - preferably a small plastic bag so that it is not exposed to moisture or air that can accelerate oxidation.

To clean your jewelry, you can clean it with lukewarm water and dish soap. For a better effect, there are silver polishing cloths that effectively remove discoloration on the silver. (Avoid polishes with abrasives that can scratch the silver.)
